Scottish Enterprise -- Scotland’s main economic, enterprise, innovation and investment agency -- today expressed its support for the 2014-2015 aquaNOW Audiences series.
"Scottish Enterprise are pleased to be supporting OOSKAnews to develop international links to engage global audiences, which sits with our aim of promoting Scotland as a world leader in water technology and a global center for water innovation," said Alan Liddle, Senior Executive--Low Carbon Technologies at Scottish Enterprise.
Liddle was speaking ahead of the inaugural Audience, which will be held tomorrow (October 2, 2014) at the Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS) in Oban, Scotland.

aquaNOW Audiences is a series of web-streamed seminars designed to engage global audiences with critical water-related challenges.
An initial series of six aquaNOW Audiences will be physically hosted in Scotland -- the Hydro Nation -- over the next 12 months, and be web-streamed live to an international viewership.
Tomorrow’s event will feature panelists including Renee Martin-Nagle, Visiting Scholar, Environmental Law Institute, Washington DC; Dr. Paul Tett, Reader in Coastal Systems, Scottish Association for Marine Science; Juan-Carlos Ramirez, Visiting Scholar, the UNESCO Center for Water Law at the University of Dundee, Scotland; Dr. John Matthews, Executive Director of the Alliance for Global Water Adaptation; Richard Allan, fellow at the James Hutton Institute and Chairman of the Strategic Advisory Board: Environment at CEN in Brussels; and Kevin Jeffrey, Owner, Wastewater Wizard.
