Ethiopia and Djibouti this week launched construction of a $22 million USD water transfer project. The project, funded by China's Exim Bank and built by CGC Overseas Construction Group (CGCOC), will bring an estimated 100,000 cubic meters of water per day from Ethiopia to water-stressed Djibouti.
