Three flood reservoirs, with a combined capacity of 300-400 million cubic meters, will be built along the Tisza River by 2020 said Benedek Göncz, the head of the national water authority's flood protection department. Hungary is about half-way to its goal of raising reservoir capacity to 1.5 billion cubic meters. The cost is estimated to be in excess of $500 million.
