The American Red Cross may not be able to account for how it spent the nearly half a billion dollars in donations it raised for humanitarian relief and rebuilding efforts in Haiti following the January 2010 earthquake, according to new documents obtained by US National Public Radio (NPR) and independent non-profit newsroom ProPublica.
