Pollution Threatens Windhoek's Water Supply

WINDHOEK

This week, council agreed that pollution in the area where underground water reservoirs are located could be “life threatening to the residents of Windhoek”. To contain this potential threat, the municipality is appealing to the ministry of mines to stop issuing exploration licences in the area it considers as its water basket.
