TEPCO Still Has 7,000 Tons of Radioactive Water to Remove at Fukushima Nuclear Plant

FUKUSHIMA, Japan

The Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO), operator of the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, still has some 7,000 tons of radioactive water that has to be removed from 16 locations, including underground tunnels, at the Fukushima No. 1 reactor, the company said this week.
