ASWAN

Dozens of families have been moved from their homes in the Upper Egyptian city of Aswan after sewage piping flooded in an area called Baraka Demas. An operations room with officials from local water, sanitation and electricity authorities has been established but work has been halted by electricity outages in the area and a generator malfunction.
