As River Levels Drop, Drought-Stricken Moldova Faces Water Shortages

Water levels in the Dniester and Prut rivers in Moldova has dropped significantly as a result of ongoing drought in the region. Authorities have warned that if emergency measures are not taken, water provision could be at risk in the capital, Chisinau, as well as in the town of Cahul and several small localities.
