Council of Europe Warns of Deteriorating Humanitarian Situation in Eastern Ukraine

In a report released this week, the Council of Europe’s human rights commissioner warned of the worsening humanitarian situation in war-torn eastern Ukraine, where 5 million people are currently in need of assistance and access to water and medicine has deteriorated.The Human Rights Report on Ukraine is based on Commissioner Nils Muižnieks’ findings during his trip to the region between June 29th and July 3rd.
