Chinese state-owned power company China Three Gorges Corporation (CTGC) has announced that it will develop the $2.4 billion USD, 1,100-megawatt Kohala Hydropower Project on the Jhelum River in Pakistan-administered Kashmir.It will be the company’s biggest investment in the Pakistani hydropower market.The run-of-river project will be completed by 2023.
