DONETSK, Ukraine

Shelling near the village of Novgorod in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine has damaged a water pipeline in the area; this in turn raises the risk that wastewater stored behind dams at a nearby chemical plant will overflow, contaminating nearby rivers.
