Swiss Chemicals Group Indicted For Contamination Of Drinking Water

BASEL, Switzerland

Chemical company Lonza Group has been accused this week of negligently contaminating drinking water in Switzerland. According to the public prosecutor’s office of the Swiss canton of Valais, Lonz allowed a carcinogenic solvent to pollute the water of Visp, in Valais, for years but failed to do anything about the contamination.
