The Supreme Court of Pakistan supreme last week reinstated a ban on Indian television shows being shown in Pakistan in the latest twist in the countries’ water-sharing dispute.Pakistan Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar made his decision in Karachi October 27 while hearing a case filed by Pakistani producers' associations relating to the broadcasting of foreign content on Pakistan television channels.Nisar said the ban was justified as India was damming rivers that flow into Pakistan. "India is shrinking the flow of water into Pakistan…Why shouldn't we close their channels?"Pakistan says that dams are being used against it as a weapon, a claim India denies...
