UN Pledges $34.6 Million USD For Afghanistan Drought Relief

KABUL, Afghanistan

The United Nations’ Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund (AHF) and Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) announced October 16 that $34.6 Million USD has been allocated in new emergency aid to support more than 2 million people in the country in the face of unprecedented and continuing drought,. This is in addition to a total of $54 Million USD either pledged or funded by the European Commission this year. (OOSKAnews)
