Siltation Threatens Viability Of Main Harare Reservoir


Zimbabwe's capital, Harare, could run out of water by 2045 as the city's main water reservoir a serious situation threat, said a professor of environmental studies at the University of Zimbabwe Christopher Magadza. With increasingly prolonged droughts worsening the water shortages Mugadza said Harare must shore up its water supplies by building new dams and installing long distance pipelines.
