DHAKA, Bangladesh

UNICEF has released a new report examining effects of devastating floods, cyclones and other environmental disasters linked to climate change on children in Bangladesh. With its flat topography, dense population, and weak infrastructure, the country is unusually vulnerable to the consequences of climate change.

The report, relesed April 5, acknowledges the country’s investments and actions since the 1990s to build resilience, but also calls for more resources and innovative programs to avert the effects of climate change on its youngest children.
