ADB Committed To Completion Of Troubled Nepal Drinking Water Project

MANILA, Philippines

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has confirmed its commitment to completing the Melamchi Drinking Water Project in the Kathmandu valley in central Nepal, extending the completion deadline date if necessary. This was the first such comment from a principal project participant since Italian construction firm Cooperativa Muratori e Cementisti (CMC) di Ravenna, walked off the project in December 2018.
