Asia Pacific Region Unlikely To Hit Any SDG Target By 2030

None of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will be met by Asian countries by the 2030 target date, according to a new UN report.The claim came at the launch of a 2019 SDG Progress Report at the 75th session of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) May 27.Findings show that for more than half the SDGs, progress has stagnated or is heading in the wrong direction.
