SINGAPORE, Singapore

UAE utility Utico announced plans July 25 to list shares on the Singapore stock exchange. The hopeful “white knight” rescuer of debt-ridden environmental services company Hyflux Ltd is aiming to secure between $220 Million USD and $365 Million USD. Funds would be used to invest in water, renewable energy and high-tech projects in Singapore. Speculatively, the funds could also be used to defray the corporate cash outflow related to the potential investment in Hyflux.
