A newly appointed member of the Manila, Philipines, Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS), has claimed that he has no personal knowledge of the high-profile and controversial Kaliwa Dam project.Retired Marine Lieutenant General Emmanuel Salamat, appointed by the country's President Rodrigo Duterte July 31, had formerly been in charge of the Northern Luzon Command.The Philippine Star, when asked about his support for the dam, he admitted that he had yet to understand the details of the $235 Million USD project.
