MONTREAL, Canada

A collaborative effort of reporters, academic institutions, and media partners has revealed that, across Canada, hundreds of thousands have been unknowingly exposed to potentially dangerous levels of lead in drinking water. Sites in several cities tested higher than the worst levels in Flint, Michigan, US, which remains center of a scandal related to mismanagement of infrastructure which caused lead contamination of drinking water.
