Water Pistol Priest Is Social Media Hit

Detroit MI

A Grosse Pointe, Michigan priest recently took social distancing to a creative new level when he used a toy squirt gun to shoot holy water on parishioners’ Easter food and flowers outside St. Ambrose Church. The Rev. Tim Pelc was geared up in a mask, face shield and rubber gloves as a precaution against the coronavirus as he greeted each car full of people as they stopped by the steps of the Roman Catholic parish on the day before Easter for the traditional blessing. The photos were posted by the church on social media, according to the Associated Press.
