Malawi: Scottish Brewery Launches Clean Water Initiative to Support Fight Against COVID-19

The Scotland-based craft beer firm, Brewgooder, has invested approximately $69,000 USD into two clean water initiatives in Malawi to help curb the spread of COVID-19.The investment will benefit over 90,000 people in Thyolo and Dedza, township districts in south and central Malawi, with the development of solar-powered water supply systems which will deliver safe water to two regional healthcare facilities.The solar-powered water systems, which are being developed in partnership with The One Foundation, are set to unlock 3.94 million litres of water per year across both facilities. The funding will also contribute to the training of 60 healthcare workers on the most effective methods to combat the virus...
